New Stealth Tax on Enduring Power of Attorney

I was advised by my solicitor this week that from April, the system will change, and any new EPA will cost £800 per annum to administer. YET ANOTHER STEALTH TAX. Please share this info on your newsletter so that folk can organise an EPA before the end of the tax year whilst still cheap. Sign now and it will last for life. Down load form for free from

It seems it will not be possible to set up an 'Enduring Power of Attorney' after 2 April 2007 (although any already set up will remain legal) and, instead, a 'Lasting Power of Attorney' will replace it.

Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
