Great way to get rid of them though. Just say 'No, my mum and dad are not in. Bye.' And close the door.

That happened to me - I was 29, young baby in my arms, feeling about 95 through lack of sleep... don't think I swore at him but he legged it pdq

All depends on my mood when I answer, getting quite a range these days, from let me get you a copy of watch tower. to oh your not the repossession guys, or gabbering on in gibberish saying no english no english, or standing there desperately trying to restrain the older of my ladies as she barks like crazy dog at them and saying oh good she needs feeding do you mind rolling up the trouser leg as we would not want to get blood on it, to asking to their address to come and bother them. to just been made redundant (thank god I found out last week I have still got a job) if all of the afore mentioned failed could always be lustful and do it that will defo have them running for the hills as a middle aged short fat brunette I have perfected the art of sending men in the opposite direction and of course french lessons aka swearing is a last resort.

Now I work nights I have a sign saying mad vampire asleep do not disturb or you will die but even that does not work with some
