Doesnt make much difference,I had to use half the North sea oil reserves before I got the £5 voucher.Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.
Got a huge Buzz out of it.0 -
Out of interest does anyone know the best fuel related loyalty deal, Tesco Clubcard perhaps?
I know they are all pretty rubbish but every little helps.
lol:A0 -
I went to put petrol in my car the other day and noticed i only got 10 points per litre, you used to get 15 points.Anyone else noticed this?
Yes, I noticed this as well. I buy fuel every day and I noticed it about a fortnight ago.
There was no news released by Morrisons that this was going to happen, or at least they didn't make people fully aware. How else would I not know about it when I buy at least £40 of fuel every day mostly at Morrisons and use the supermarket?
Miles points cut by a third.
I'm now going to get to my last 5k points then use ASDA for fuel as I don't like the sly way they went about this.
Morrisons have now lost a customer who spent about £400 a week with them.0 -
I just spotted this points drop today and searched here to see if others were aware. There seems to have been zero publicity about this.funkycoldribena wrote: »Doesnt make much difference,I had to use half the North sea oil reserves before I got the £5 voucher.
True. It now saves 1 p/L rather than 1.5 p/L, but every penny helps...0 -

Morrisons miles are a loyalty card and the way they went about this reduction was bang out of order. It is not how loyal customers should be treated.
At least Tesco were upfront about cutting their fuel points.
I shall use ASDA in future who are always cheaper or at least on a par with the cheapest and have no grief as they don't use any loyalty gimmick.0 -
There was no publicity about this at my local Morrisons garage. I too spend a lot each week on petrol but because of the underhand way they went about this I shall switch to another stores fuel.0

Glad I found this thread saved me starting one. I wondered if others had noticed this. I did spot (once) a stack of flyers at the checkouts but even that wasn't great. It said something like still the best savings scheme, then it said they are making changes. You get 10 points per litre, as it didn't say what is was before I assumed (correctly) that it was a reduction. Looks like they've got away with it but I agree that its been handled badly.
For example it says this allows them to do competitive and run schemes like fuel Britannia. Well I buy small amounts of shopping topping up regularly. I don't buy vast sums of alcohol or vast amounts of food to throw away so I don't benefit from the other scheme. Also the value of the scheme will have been declining anyway as its been five pounds since.... Anyone????Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0
