That "so that we receive it" phrase is not in keeping with the DSRs.
They cannot refuse a refund if the order is cancelled properly... even if they never receive the goods back.
They do however need to receive your cancellation within seven working days, starting with the day after delivery.

That also is not in keeping with the DSRs. You only have to notify them of cancellation within 7 days (starting day after delivery).so that we receive it within seven working days of the day that the item was delivered to you.
As Wealdroam states, provided the cancellation notice is received, they are obliged to refund within 30 days. Any non-receipt of goods after what they might believe to be a reasonable period) is a separate issue that they must pursue via other means.0
