Hello
I have the JBL radial ipod docking station.
Its only a year old and my DH has lost the power cable. Nothing we have in the house fits it and John Lewis (where I bought it) cannot help and I cannot make sense of the JBL website/helpline and find a person to speak to
I have read the bottom of the product and worked out that I need this:

I have read the bottom of the product and worked out that I need this:
AC Power Supply Adapter 4 JBL 700-0050 7000050 24V 3A
it doesn't mean much to me - but google, amazon and ebay searches have only thrown up USA suppliers. Can anyone help me find a UK supplier or suggest an alternative that would work?
Thanks in advance.
BTW - I am very untechnical so may have missed the obvious - apologies in advance for that!!!

Be careful...
it says 24volts and 3amps? hence 12v adapters wont do, secondly the power draw says 3amps? hence the adapter must be able to handle 3 amps?
I put a ? on the power draw as there is a 24v JBL adapter for docking stations, however it says upto 2.3A - So when you said 3A, was that right?
see http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jbl-Radial-AC-Power-Adapter-24V-2-3A-700-0061-002-/120762039406?pt=UK_AudioVideoElectronics_PortableAudio_MP3PlayerCarKits&hash=item1c1dfa7c6e
If in doubt contact these guys as they may be able to assist - http://www.expansys.com/foc.aspx?m=12700 -
Thanks everyone

That looks more promising but the code is different which makes me unsure, On the bottom of the radial it says only to be used with JBL model/s 700-0050 and googling was what produced my OP.
I'm thoroughly confused! :rotfl:
thank you for suggesting the other forum - I have also posted on there.r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
These guys are JBL approved dealers http://www.robertritchie-hifi.com/
otherwise you can others from the JBL UK site - only one in scotland, but plenty down south.
