Mozilla Firefox making things lower case

I couldn't log onto this site today - took me ages to fathom.
After resetting my password several times and STILL being locked out, I realised that mozilla firefox was making my username all lower case. I have no idea why!
I have managed to get back in by using internet explorer. Does anyone please know how to stop Mozilla changing my username to lower case?

Might be worth checking your saved passwords in Firefox.
If I try entering my username as voucherman it changes it to V & M as that's how it's been saved.0
