Hope someone can help me please,Me and my husband have a joint account, i ordered something off line today i made sure there was enough money to cover this item, we had a email saying there was insufficent funds in the bank, when i had a look there had been 50p taken out the bank we phoned up the bank asking if they knew why this money had gone out, then they said there was £2.00 going to be taken out, we had not brought anything on the card, so i have been up to the bank this afternoon and put £2.00 in so it will cover the item i want, we ordered the item again, checked that the £2.00 had been put in and it hadent there had been another £2.00 taken out all, so £ 4.00 has been taken out my bank i have phoned the bank and they was no use saying that they cant tell me who this money is going to, it may only be a small amount but its still our money any help would be appreciated thank you for taking the time to read

I think it's an authorization amount and should be back in your account within 3-5 days.0

Buying OFF line - did you mean to say online?
I would recommend using a credit card for online transactions even if a small amount.0 -
