Car Mechanics - Advice needed!

Options
I think the clutch cable snapped on my '98 Freelander tonight.

Any estimates on how much this could cost me?

...Just want to be prepared for the quote gathering tomorrow!

Thanks

I think that freelanders have hydraulic clutches? If so, check your brake fluid level first.

Yes, they do - I didn't know that until yesterday!

Replacement of a hydraulic tube (£50+VAT) went up to £385+VAT for a full replacemnt of the clutch!

I hate cars - I think this is going to the private ads once it's done.
