Cheap but clean places to stay in Manchester

Usually when we stay in Manchester we go to Jurys as it's only £50. There are a group of us going August bank holiday for pride but Jury's rooms are £89
Anyway, i was wondering if anybody knows of any budget hotels. Preferably on a good late night bus route, probably Fallowfield area.
The Wilmslow hotel has been suggested to us, the prices are great but can't find any info about it eg trip advisor etc. Don't care about decor etc, but needs to be clean. Anybody know anything about it?

sheryldoc, I never even considered Travelodge, thanks for that
mich_city have had a look on there, all the ones i know have hiked their prices for the bank holiday weekend0 -
Try the travelodge Didsbury, its only a mile or two past Fallowfield with excellent travel links to the city centre, and if you really can't face the all night bus (costs a bit over a quid) a cab will be about £10 to fallowfield and £15 to Didsbury. I really wouldn't go to Ancoats.0

Travelodge has rooms from £15 that can sleep four! just book as well in advance as possible. The Ancoats one is nice about 5 mins walk from Piccadilly and it has a bar and does breakfasts. Didsbury one is nice, buses run til really late from town through fallowfield and to Didsbury. Didsbury village is good for night out but about 15 mins walk from Didsbury Travelodge.[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica]
