looks like my cars a wright off!? :(
I posted at the weekend, to cut a long story short my car skidded into a wall and the amount of damage looks like its going to be written off. No other cars were involved, no-one was hurt and no property damaged.
I only got it three months ago and have put approx 2000 miles on the clock, i paid £7000 for it, it is a 09 ford fiesta style, 1.25.
If they do class it as a write off (which is looking likely) what are they likely to offer me? As i am hoping to get a similar car.
Any advice much appreciated!

They'll probably offer a lot less.
But, as you bought it recently, FOS rulings have said the price you paid is the true value, (less your excess). Three months is getting a bit long, but it should still be close to the price you paid.0 -
Have you paid the full years policy?0

the advice given in your previous thread is still good........If your car is written off, you may find the attached link a useful link http://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/publications/technical_notes/motor-valuation.html........£7k car with front, side, ?suspension?, bumper, screen & airbags damage?
I’d say start looking for a replacement
Also, when it comes to valuation, remember that on recently bought vehicles the price you paid is generally assumed to be the market value.0 -
Great thank you! i had actually forgotten about that with worrying about everything!0
