p.c or android tablet?

Options
my hubbys p.c. is on it's last legs, and we're unsure wether to replace it with another p.c. or an android tablet.

he mainly uses his p.c. for surfing the net, and e mailing.

if he wants to put videos on youtube he could use my laptop

would an android tablet be a good idea?

  • I use my smartphone for accessing the internet sometimes. Why not pop down to your local store, and check them out. The tablet would have to have a decent screen. What about another laptop, or netbook?

Is there a reason for not wanting another pc? What is wrong with it, could you perhaps replace any damaged components yourself? I did for mine, and for approx £200, new graphics card, psu, motherboard, ram, overclocked processor, hard drive etc.

Runs very fast for the little it cost, some people pay a fortune to get the specs I achieved for very little. just a thought if you feel competent enough to diy. :)
    Smile, why not.

I have a tablet and love it but I couldnt replace my main device for it.
Even having a keyboard saves ages ( I know you can get BB keyboards)
When I move to my narrowboat I will leave behind my PC but need a laptop ( as well as my Tablet of course :) )
