whats the current value of a 2 year old telly? - Tesco out of warranty settlement

well I got a cheque for £200 - after some hassle. After 3 weeks I rang to see what the progress was, they said they werent sure as a cheque hadnt yet been dispatched, a lady told me she would call me back the same day - which she didn't. 3 days later I call again and they tell me a cheque will be sent within 12 days and still couldnt tell me how much.

£200 cheque then arrived in the post. No fault was admitted and it was classed as a gesture of good will. While i would have liked more, i suppose i cant grumble, put it towards a nice £360 43inch so could have been worse off i suppose.

Bearing in mind that prices of TV's have dropped a lot in 2 years I don't think 2 years use plus £200 towards a £360 tv is that bad myself

If my input helps at all ive just had my 5 yr old plasma written off by comet... Paid 1500 and they offered me a 51" 3D plasma today, with 2 pairs of glasses, total was 850 so was rather plz'd although it took them 16 weeks to write it off. Cant complain now really. X
