Buying a house with economy 7s Change to gas or oil?

Just about to purchase my first house and at the moment it has 5 economy 7 heaters and a gas fire linked to a calor gas bottle.
At the moment they are paying £80 a month electricity and about £80 a year on calor gas.
I was wondering if it was worth sticking with the economy 7's or having gas or oil put in?
Its a ex local authority 3 bedroom semi detached, well maintained, doubled glazed etc
How much would it cost to have a gas or oil system in and how much cheaper is it to run?
Cheers

Note: Gas may only be possible if its piped to the property.
Either gas or oil would require a gas/oil boiler and plumbing for water rads plus removal of E7 rads = expensive.0 -
Yes gas would have to be in a tank like oil as there isnt mains gas in the area0

Did you look at the links I posted ?
It wont be cheap to do, but if you are planning on living at the property for a number of years then you will benefit from better heating and lower bills, you could also see about an insulation grant if you can still get them for the walls.0 -

In terms of LPG tank or oil, what do you neighbours have? Buying LPG or oil is typically cheaper if several houses in a village all get their deliveries on the same day (it makes a big difference so I'm told).IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.
