Hi
there are so many companies out there offering wedding cars i dont know what a good price is.
i live about 15mins from the venue and we only need the one 1 trip each as we are having the ceremony and reception in the same place we will require 2 trips (me and my dad, bridesmaids) depending on size of car.
i just dont know the going rate how much have you paid?
thanks

dont look at companies they charge through the nose
do u have any local car clubs (classics or makers) and offer some photos of the car and some bubbly or something
also friends with nice cars
also take a notepad around with you, if you see a nice car pop a little note under the windscreen wipers and see if you get anywhere
good luck xxxxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
brill idea thanks

Where are you? We managed to find a cab company in London who do 1 hour with a nice cleaned London taxi with white ribbons on it for £60. To be honest renting a regular cab for that much for an hour would be a good deal, so we are happy with it.
Otherwise they are stupidly expensive, and mostly for 3 hours. Who needs a car for three hours!?0 -
We have had a beauford tourer ivory with a red hood its lush,i plan on only getting married once so wanted the classic car.we have it for 3 hrs,it will take bridesmaids and my mum first then come back to get me and my dad then after me and hubby to the venue which is 30mile away from the church, £246 cheapest we found and most wouldnt do the journey0

A lot really depends on what type of car you want....the full blown wedding car can be quite expensive but if for example you want something like a exec airport type car then contact local taxi/private hire companies who will almost certainly be a lot cheaper...frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0 -
We had a beautiful mark 2 jag for ours. Picked the bridesmaids up and drove them to the church (around 7 mins each way). Then picked up the bride and took her to the church. Then waited (1 hour) and took us to the venue (25 mins) with a champagne toast and a stop along the way for more photos. I believe the total cost was around £300, which I thought represented really good value compared to other companies I spoke to. (and quite good value generally - no idea how long the guy must spend cleaning the car for each wedding - it was IMMACULATE. And we made a right mess of it with all the confetti

I would love a vintage car or a VW camper van for ours (sigh) but we are on such a budget that we are going to ask a friend to do it. Have you considered that?7 Feb 2012: 10st7lbs

i've been looking too, thinking something like a new jag/chrysler 300 might be a good idea, we just need one to take my fiance to the church then the two of us to the reception, i'm arriving to the wedding in pure style, my best man drives a t-reg starlet :rotfl:Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0
