British Gas And One.Tel

I have subscribed to the British Gas home phone service for the last few months. This morning I received a letter from them saying that I am being transferred to One.Tel which is also owned by Centrica (the parent company of British Gas) . The monthly fee is being reduced by a couple of pounds to £3.99 . From what I can see the actual call charges and free calls will be the same.
I suppose it was always a bit strange that the same company would operate two independent phone operations and this will be a way of simplifying things. I will keep an eye on the charges for the next few months to make sure that they don't suddenly hike up their prices.
