SAR - Only some information received

I sent a SAR to the bank asking for details of all information held about me and any accounts including Loan Agreements, Charges, PPI etc. They have sent a letter back with copies of bank statements going back six years and also returned my postal order of £10 saying that they do not keep any other information and it has been destroyed and they do not have to show proof that it has been destroyed. I am really annoyed because on a lot of the bank statements they sent me I can see the loan agreement number I was paying out on every month. What I wanted was copied of my bank statements and copies of all the loan paperwork/statements so that I can also claim back all the PPI I was paying out on the loan. They have not provided this, are they just messing me about? I asked for this as I did not have any of the original paperwork or statements from the loan, but I can now see that it ended within the time frame for me to be able to claim the PPI back. What is the next step, do I have write to the bank again and send another SAR? I presume I need to get all my loan statements from the bank so that I can work out exactly how much PPI I am owed. Surely the bank will have copies of the loan statements or will they have destroyed them now? The loan was still active in 2006
