Do I need any sort of proof that I am on IS for claiming free prescriptions? Thanks in advance.

No just tick the relevent box and sign the prescription the pharmasist will mark a box on the back to say you did not show any id and dispence your meds
  • I've never been asked for proof, but I do have to fill in my NI number in the relevant place on the back of the prescription.
  • Never been asked for proof of free prescription entitlement via benefits but I always take my last ESA award letter just in case..lol.
