Will I be able to get an invisible fill using caulk to fill screw holes in skirting board? If not, what should I use. Thanks.

Caulk shrinks. Use plastic wood and sand down.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

I ask as the builder filled skirting holes with caulk, which I think is a bodge job. I refilled with two part sander. Looks good now.Warning: This forum may contain nuts.0

The best thing to fill holes in wood is.. erm... wood.
Yep, pellets for a proper job.............:D0 -
I've always used polyfiller on wood that is to be glossed and wood shavings/pva for anything stained.[SIZE=-1]To equate judgement and wisdom with occupation is at best . . . insulting.
