hi
i had an email today from eBay Trust & Safety at ukrswebhelp@ebay.com. i bought a cap off ebay yesterday for £12.50 and paid straight away via paypal.
now they have sent me an email saying that there is a problem with the item, it has been removed and the trader been suspended. The item no longer exists on my won items. I have tried to pull my money back via paypal but they say that i have to leave him time to send the item. I dont know what to do now? is this something that happens often? is it quite easy to get money back via paypal. has anyone got the link via paypal?
thanx all

Perhaps send an email to ebay and ask what can you do! if you leave it the seller could remove the money from his paypal account and close it so you wouldn't have a chance!

i have just looked at the email the buyer sends for you to complete the transaction and he has loads of radio 1 beat the bully bands for sale at £12.50. i remember a while back that someone was complaining about people selling these
perhaps thats why they have shut his account down.
ebay told me not to complete the sale and if i had already paid to consider the sale null and void and to start procedings for paypal to get my money refunded.0 -
open up a dispute wiht paypal,
this will stop the seller removing his money form his paypal account until the investigation has completedsmile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

This recently happened to me the seller was suspended but when i telephoned paypal they told me to contact the seller and ask them if they were still sending the items.
Thankfully the seller did respond and i received the items the day after her account had been suspended. She explained why she had been suspended and i had an email of her last week to say that Ebay had reinstated her account.
So contact the seller and ask are they sending your item as you have paid in good faith.
Good luck0 -
Good Luck and hope you get this sorted!

Have you actually tried to contact the seller themselves? I've been in this situation. I recieved that email after i had already paid. I emailed eBay to help and they just sent out one of those copied and pated standard emails telling me not to pay! (!!!!!!!)
I contacted the seller themselves anf they reassured me that the item would still be sent. Luckily it arrived the next day. Live help won't be able to do anything. You could also wait for the 7 days postage time to elapse and make a claim through Paypal. Mind you, there's no guarantees that you will get your money back that way.
My advice is- Contact the seller."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0
