And if they are that uncooperative & obstructive before you buy a policy just imagine what they will be like if you have the temerity to make a claim

You seem to have spent a long time reading up on what info they give you prior to purchase.

    Did you miss this:
If you change your mind and wish to cancel your travel insurance policy, you have 14 days from when you take out your policy to cancel the policy and obtain a full refund on the premium

So you can take a fortnight to read up everything at home, and get your money back if you find something in the schedule you take exception to!

Seems reasonable, and not providing the schedule prior to purchase is the norm anyway with most/all companies.

Yeah, but when you're taking it out for a trip in the next day or so that leaves little time to cancel and arrange an alternative!

The reason we were so cautious is because we've been burnt in the past when our hotel room was burgled in Cambodia and lost out quite a bit because of the small print. Once bitten and all that.

So why are you looking at esure? I would have thought you would prefer to avoid a company with their reputation.

It's insure with ease, not e-sure. I don't know about their reputation.

The previous problems were with Insure and Go [away!]!
