Are you saying that the new employers werent aware of your illness when they offered you the job.
Did they ask on your application of any illnesses of absences from previous jobs from any sickness/illness.
The equality act makes it unlawful for employers to ask health questions before offering a job.0 -

There may be other conditions affecting you. Some of the symptoms are not typical of depression alone.
Thanks Muttley. It's great to hear I'm not alone in this. Not that I'm glad you feel like you do mind, lol. I wondered if I was also slightly Aspergers or Autistic because as a child I was diagnosed (not sure if that's the right word?) as a gifted child, my IQ was something like 136 I think and in the top 2% of the country. I believe that Aspergers and ASD are linked to depression and "gifted" people aren't they? I mentioned it to the psych and he said "Oh no, you've been in long term relationships so you can't be Aspergers." I have always been an extremely anti-social person in RL (not like an ASBO chav lol) and have difficulty making friends and hate small talk with a passion. I'm happiest in home with just my dog for company. Have you been diagnosed with anything other than depression?0
