Hi, our laptop cam with this installed. However, since a restore we can't get it to load. It keeps coming up with a licence error mesage.
I have tried 'change' in the programmes and it didn't work.
I found this info http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-office_install/pre-loaded-microsoft-office-starter-2010-will-not/1ae40c57-100e-4dbe-ad6d-0d9df26a5b0f
but can't get past step 2a as i don't really understand what to do (I'm a bit of a novice).
Can anyone help please?
Thanks

Before playing around with the system registry, please ensure you make a restore point, then if it goes wrong you should be able to restore the registry.
I would be worried myself if a novice were to do this, so remember the old addage - measure twice and cit once - ie be very very careful.0 -
Okay, how do I make a restore point please?

Okay, any further help greatly appreciated.
It seems that the system registry is okay anyway (according to the above article).
I still keep getting the licence error message and can't restore any further back than the orginal restore which caused the issue (if that makes sense?).
Can anyone at all help??
Many thanks0
