York Taddy road - nutcrackers on clipstrip down pet aisle - marrked as 75p, scanning at £1.50. Didn't need any so I left them there for someone else, loads more in different parts of the store too iirc.
Not a single bargain to be had otherwise!

Hi, well done you! What type of store did you find these in? I tried at a Tesco Home Store yesterday and they scanned at £2.50 each :-) SEL also said £2.50cosmic-dust wrote: »

I was wondering how do you check the price of something instore? As if you are trying to get a bargain but it comes up full price at the checkout then you'd have to buy it if you get what I mean lol0

In some stores there's a scanner for customers to use to check proces (when they work ....). Otherwise you can ask the cashier to check the price at the till - if it's more than you expect just say that you don't want it.lindylubilou wrote: »I was wondering how do you check the price of something instore? you dont have to buy anything. you can ask the cashier to take that item of your bill. saying you changed your mind/havent got enough money etc etc.lindylubilou wrote: »I was wondering how do you check the price of something instore? I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0 -
The 'Feed your family for a fiver' at Sainbury's campaign led by Jamie Oliver is, I understand, being bettered by the "Feed your family for nowt at Tesco" campaign led by Worrall Thompson."If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools"
