. Just a quickie - have you ever managed to find a self scanner in this store? I always end up taking to self-service or asking at a till in clothing!! It would be so much more useful
PS - Thanks but Bracknell is too far for me! Im near Uxbridge. Might try aylesbury . . some people seem to get a few offers at that store and they seem to be ok with DTD too!
Thank you very muchThere is a self scanner in one of the toy aisles, so best bet is to fill up trolley with stuff you want and then head there lol.
No problem at all. Can't be any worse than the Sl0ugh CS :rotfl:0 -

Hiya, Ive just come back from S*ough. I have to say, there wasn't much at all. I did manage to scan a few items with no prices in the reduced items section and got the following:-
Make Your own name plate 40p
Make your own Bell 40p
Colouring Travel Case 60p
Ben 10 Inflatable ball 20p
Mini baby doll 50p
Ben 10 figures 40p (usually £4.99)
Ben 10 Keychain 40p (usually £4.99)
Pokemon Digital Pokeball £2 (Argos £16.33) My bargain of the day then!!
I also checked laptops, Camera's etc. Nothing - All full price.
I checked Zhu Zhu pets - but again Full price
I might head to another store sometime this pm.
Goodluck with your hunting!!
Oh and while I was there - herd two staff members complaining about the self-check point. They said there was heaploads of stuff left there in saturday and that they were NOT happy about it -they are considering disconnecting it! I did see one woman and we were searching for bits and helping each other. However she was leaving things by the self-check point and I polightly asked her to put them back otherwise they would be disconnecting it. I put several of the things she had left there away, and then she started putting things back!*Every little helps*
It only takes a moment to say a Thank-You, which goes a long way!0 -

Hi Cici, save yourself the troubleTheir stock was all full price. Someone who works in that store is either on the ball or just plain greedy! :rotfl:

Has anybody purchased any of the large tins of sweets (quality street, roses etc) this morning? Online this is showing a new deal starting today 26/9/11 at better than half price was £10, however the online price is still £10 even when item is added to basket. Was wondering if it was scanning instore at £10 as well and maybe SEL would be "less than half price"?????0
