he called over a supervisor who said that items scanning as a penny were not allowed to be sold as it was a problem with the barcode.

Why they make up this rubbish I have no idea, jobsworths the pair of them.

Got another 7 bars of cdm tonight white sel £1 scanning at 34p. sweets offer kicked in when I bought 11 gummies, now extended to Jan 2012

That is rubbish! SA is making it up! I've seen the dormen satay mix with a 1p sel! A few of the 1p items come up on the till as "product recall" in one store I shop in. I've had the harry hill nuts and the freaky fingers taken off me at the till!

Last night (weds) I bought 36 more bars of CDM. The shelf was labelled 34p so naturally there were none there, but I saw 2 boxes at the top of the shelves to restock and a nice tall tesco man got them down for me. Also managed to buy 16 packs of green tea @1p. The cashiers (in 2 stores ) counted them up and just scanned one and put them through without any fuss whatsoever. Thanks to whoever first posted that, if they say, I'll thank 'em

My first post - so hope it's in the right place. Has anyone noticed that the 1p pack of Clipper green Tea include a 30p off voucher in the box? Do you think I'll be able to use it to buy another 1p pack and get 29p off the rest of my shopping?
