Hi
Got up this morning and our boiler has died/cut out
Fine last night, this morning got up no pilot light.
It is a gloworm ultimate about 10 years old, automatic ignition. Tried turning it off and on no response.
Getting cold a bit
Just checking on here if anyone has a clue or knows someone good in manchester area.
Thanks

First question, is it completely "dead" electrically? If so, I'd suspect there's a fuse blown somewhere.A house isn't a home without a cat.
Those are my principles. If you don't like them, I have others.
I have writer's block - I can't begin to tell you about it.
You told me again you preferred handsome men but for me you would make an exception.

A similar thing happened to my boiler.
The red light on control panel was light but nothing would work.
It turned out to be the circuit board had blown.
We changed it ourselves at cost of £60.0 -
Can you get the pilot light to light but then it goes out again almost straight away? If so I'd suspect the thermocouple but this isn't my area of expertise, so after that I'm going to be very little help.A house isn't a home without a cat.
