Can I change supplier and keep Homecare cover?

Hi folks

I am looking at moving my Gas and Electricity supplier to one that is cheaper. Presently I get both from Scottish Gas but want to know if moving supplier will render my Homecare cover with them null and void?

    Your Homecare aggreement is entirely seperate. We have a Homecare aggreement with British Gas but moved our supplier to Powergen a couple of years ago.

    Yes - I joined Homecare after I transferred to Scottish Power. They never asked me who my supplier was and have been out twice since with no problems.
