Slow, slow, slooooooooooooooooow!!!!

For days now, the forum initially loads fine and dandy and then, so some unknown reason it gets slower and slower and slooooooooower!!

I go to thank posts and I have to refresh the page (slooooooooooowly) only to find the thanks has worked anyway and in other instances, not worked at all!

Grrrrrr!!!! It is slooooooowly but suuuuuuurely testing my patience!!!

Anyone else???

Oh and it's not just the "thanks", it happens with Quick (hahahah!) Reply and the Edit function too.

I've run a virus checker and spybot thinking it was me.

Worst thing was I just upgraded to IE7 and wondered if it was connected.

Oh rizla - I've done Regtweak, virus checker, Adaware, defrag ... everything I can think of, but it degenerates into a very slooooooooooooooow forum after a few minutes of usage.

Nopey, I don't believe it is IE7 either

I've noticed it's slow all the time too. Might put new people off who are here in the hope of getting advice.

  • Same here. I've been back and forward loads of times today to check for replies to a new thread I started but the pages just never load after the first index page so I have to give up. It's just taken ages for this thread page to load too.

"Sorry we're tweaking the new forum servers. Things may be slow this week!"

This message has been top of page for last week or two.
They seem to be tweaking for long time.

I have experienced the site being slow before when servers are being tweaked but never the multiple posting of a response.

Yet again I receive the message about a minor glitch. There seems to be a permanent glitch.
