Quite a few have won via the "Where was I " comp in The Times.

    eg .............http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=47322223&postcount=3451

Grannybiker won a weekend break via The Times

I've won via the Daily Telegraph.

Do you think the comps are not worth entering or is there an issue?

Hi, they are definitely worth entering - I have won with both. Obviously entry volume is high but they run their competitions very efficiently and you have as much a chance of winning as everyone else

And truly fabulous it was too :j
A five star break in a top of the range suite with stunning views in a National Trust property.
    Breakfast & sublime dinners x2
Unlimited access to the pool & hot tubs
    Spa treatments x2
Champagne picnic on a vintage Thames cruiser.

And very efficiently organised. One of the dining rooms was closed, so they allowed an extra bottle of wine to compensate
I was even able to take in in August :D

It's a Virgin Holiday so I'm thinking there are flights but you are right they are not mentioned anywhere so might be a good idea to try and find out as, of course, flights to Barbados aren't cheap!

yep i won from both of them a couple of years ago:j
2017 wins over £50: Yorkshire break, Tefal Actifry
  • Hi, the question was just curiousity, I enter them all the time and I am glad to hear people have won from here as it gives me hope, as they are such fab prizes but some people have said on fb that these companies can see that we have entered via a link through mse and might stop us winning, which I feel is unlikely so thought I would ask, thankyou for replying:)

Hi,I'm never sure if this anti-MSE stance that some promotors are sometimes preceived to have is all anecdotal :-)
If it's a concern maybe install refcontrol on FF of just drag the link to the bar.
Personally I tend to enter via primary links rather than direct links & sometimes also drag that link.Just in case:-)
  • thanks, yes I think I will carry on as I normally do and hopefully fingers crossed, I will get lucky :)
