Are we entitled to any help (sick leave from work )

We have just done a new claim which came through last week for child tax credits , 3 kids £150pw - We get £180pm cb and I'm currently on sick pay @ £84 per week .
Are we entitled to some sort of income support or working tax credits to top up my sick pay ?
I'm not entitled to wtc as I earned £19000 last year , I've been on sickness leave for 7 weeks and my partner does not work .
Any advice would be much appreciated.

You may be able to claim low income benefits while you are claiming SSP.

Contact your local council to see if you are eligible for housing benefit and/or council tax benefit.

just a sugestion as I'm not sure if you would be entitled to anything else apart from HB/CTB but could your wife perhaps get a part time evening job while you're at home to look after the children? supermarkets and pubs/waitressing are good places to get a few evening hours.
