PPC issued ticket outside my house

Have recently been issed with muliple tickets (daily) outside my house. It has residential parking (contracted out privately). However there are currently no signs up to state this, and never have been since i have lived there.
I have in my car a permit that is in date obatined from my landlord, however many neighbours have a different permit (company issuing tickets). They state that these were posted through the door. However I have had no option to get hold of one of these, and it definatley was not posted to me.
The car is registered at the address I live at, and always parked in the assigned spot.
Just wondering what to do with these receipts claiming I now owe £85 (each day).

Thanks

You can ignore them as you have a right to park there, but if they are giving you one daily they are likely to pester the life out of you.

    Who owns the road?
  • Not sure about ownership of the road, the parking comes in with my tennancy agreement though. Was not sure whetehr to respond to state i'm not paying, no matter how many i'm given.

If it were me being given a ticket a day and I was legaly allowed to park in the spot allocated to me, then I would collect up a certain amount perhaps 7-10 and then consider a legal challenge against the Parketing Invoice Company, for harrasment and demanding for money by menace,

These guys do infuriate me and failing that you chose the above course of action as per my suggestion then maybe collect up a number of then and put them in a sealed envelope a Tyvek one that is 100% water tight together with dog poo and post it back.
  • Don't talk to the PPC, it'll be a waste of time. You should talk to your landlord and/or the management company who took on these cowboys, and insist that they stop pestering you.

Just keep them in a safe place and ignore them.
They often recruit some Dhik from the flats to write the tickets and cut them in.
catch them at it and write a letter stating you are considering court action for harassment and stalking, your solicitor will be in contact soon.

Ask your landlord if they have contracted these parasites who are invoicing you daily for parking outside your home, and to sort it as you are under no obligation to pay the ppc as you have the right to park there as per your tenancy, and there is no signage to stipulate display of permit or indeed it is residents only parking, so you are looking to ground a claim of harrasment and are contacting Trading Standards as if they have contracted the ppc they are jointly and severally liable for the ppcs action. If the landlord hasn't contracted them ask if they know who has imho
  • No one seems to know anything about the comapny issuing tickets, and no residents seem to have any info on who the management company is. All seems odd to me. To top it off there are no signs around and never have been. Or at least never been up long enough for me to see them.
