She turned down a cot and moses basket in favour of a cardboard box?!?!
You would have to meet this girl to understand.................it was more important for stepson to be branded across the chest with girlfriend's name than to buy baby stuff- that's where some of the grant went. She had an affair so is insecure-he's not even sure it's his baby, but as his mum cleared off to Kenya with a young lad and left him to get on with it he is also insecure-we have only had contact with him for a few months as his mum stopped contact when he and his brother were small. A very very long story.
Sorry, OP! Didn't mean to hijack your thread!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0 -
Have a quiet word with the health visitors, I know around us they always have stuff available they can give out to those who need it. Its donated by other mums when they have finished with it, and there is nothing wrong with it at all.Visit beautiful Mid Wales:j0

My MIL helps out in a charity shop and she has been picking up loads of stuff for the last few months, everything from babygrows to moses baskets. At first I was turning my nose up at the stuff, as this is my first baby I wanted everything new. However, I went up and sorted through some of the stuff the other day and most of the clothes are fine. She'll grow out of it so fast that I really am grateful. I'll be able to have her in 3 changes a day at this rate and she'll always look gorgeous.0
