Does anyine know what the problems at BT yesterday were?

I called BT yesterday afternoon as my online bill, that should have been created on 18 September, wasn't there (on the 18th it said the bill would be available within 24 hours, yesterday the one from June was still the latest one, although the next bill date had moved to December). I spoke to a lady in India who was unable to help at the time as their systems were down, although she said I would get a call back (which I didn't).
I rang again a few minutes ago to be met by a message to say they are very busy this morning due to yesterday's problems, so I've given up for now. Does anyone know what problems they had yesterday, whether that might have affected billing, and when things are expected to be as back to normal as they ever are at BT?

Well I still don't know what the problems were but I managed to get someone in a chat session and they rang me to discuss my bill. They are able to see it but it's still not showing up on my account, so they are sending a hard copy by post.0

Whatever they were they seem to have got back on track, my bill appeared online this morning, 2 days after it was created. It was wrong but at least they quickly agreed to refund the £1.19 that I was charged in error.0
