Thinking of using this company to collect a dead car.
Their website says "You'll need to hand over any documents you have for the scrap car such as the registration document (V5C/logbook)...."
Can anyone who has had their car collected by them confirm (or not) that they will sign & give me section 9 (yellow slip) of the V5C before taking the car.

Yes (well they did with me) and they emailed the destruction cert within a couple of days. Was impressed how smoothly it went actually!0

They did for me too, but I *think* if they give you a certificate of destruction there is no need to do anything with the V5C.0

Last car after taking it and giving me £80 :-) sent me a email with certificate of destruction.
Used twice now - no probs either time!0
