hi my daughter
is applying for child tax credits it needs her child benifit number and she has thrown the letter away with it on tried to ring but it was a nightmare and give it up sent them a email and got reply stating they would get bk within 4 weeks is there any other way of getting sooner

Would there be a reference number on the bank statement (if that's how she receives it)
my husbands DLA benefit is paid like that with his NI number on our bank statement.

Just a thought and hope it helps.

It probably is, they will be able to trace if from that number.
