argos sent wrong sofa

Hi i am new to this site but i am so desperate for help il try anything. I will try to cut this story short.
On may 30th 2011 i ordered a right hand corner sofa from argos, after paying i was told it would take 4 weeks for delivery.
So four weeks later my sofa was delivered but after trying to arrange it together i found it was a left hand not a right hand corner! i rang customer services staight away but they said that i would have to wait another four weeks for the correct sofa to be delivered. As i live in a small cottage the left hand cornr sofa will not fit in my small living room so had to rst it against my walls and myself and children have saat on the living room floor.
Well four weeks later they came to deliver the right sofa but once again it was the wrong one! they removed both wrong sofas and i contacted customer services but they could not tell me why i was recieving the wrong one!
after ringing them nearly every day for two weeks they decided to tell me that they have removed my sofa from sale and that i could choose an alternative! But every sofa i choose that was around the same price was not in stoke and they had no intentions of trying to help!!
I then rung consuer direct and they told me to put it all in writting and give them 14 days to do something. well it has been longer than 14 days and we are still sat on living room floor with no sofa no money and no help.
Sorrry this was so long but im hoping someone can tell me next steps. cheers

Ask for a refund and go else where and buy the sofa.0

i wish it was that easy the only person who can deal with this is a manager and i cant get through to anyone. Surely they should want to help me as this is all their fault and give compensation??0
