Turnpike the road, it is still law, as long as you dont charge those who have right of access you can get your bum bag and charge them to drive over it.
If nothing else it will drag them to attention.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

However it may just be the contractors have made spurious assumptions about the unadopted road and if you mention their errors something should be sorted out. You could end up with the whole road repaired and benefit the neighbours too.
No - hadn't even heard of that term before. But we haven't given permission to do anything in our road (and there is a sign up saying private road!), and told them that they shouldn't be using it for anything several times during the development.0 -
OP, do you definately own the road? i ask because you mentioned access for the binmen and where i live they dont go down private roads, housholders have to bring their bins to public highway.
If as you say its private then try and bargain with the council/developers to get the road upgraded and adopted.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -

Definitely on our deeds - my husband worked from home all day waiting for the meeting that they implied was going to happen, I had to go to work and got back to find that nobody had called and when I tried making phone calls it was obviously gone home time! I'm hoping to go into work late tomorrow - but I'm not trusting the developers not to have phoned anyone, so I will make some calls myself.0
