TalkTalk are not here to pass opinion on other ISP's ability to take over lines from LLU. This requires an agreement between that ISP and Open Reach to be able to place such orders and various industrial matters can affect this.

So you won't comment on an area where the industry is failing significantly, because Talk Talk will not pass an opinion on the failings of other ISP's.

That is a fair position to take. What is missing is the confirmation that TalkTalk have addressed the issue and can themselves take over LLU lines. This would allow you not to comment on other ISPs from a moral high ground.

Perhaps you would comment on TalkTalk's capabilities in this area and whether it is good enough?

As advised we dont have information to advise on other ISP's. As their processes or procedures may be subject to change any queries related to this should be posted to the ISP in question.

DvardyShadow - In regards to TalkTalks abilities ot take over LLU lines this depends if the line is a Full LLU service or Partial LLU service (whereby only the BB is supplied via LLU but line rental si still via BT wholesale, rebranded by the ISP).

However irrepsective if necessary TalkTalk can arrange New Line Installations where direct transfers are not possible which can act as a workaround in some cases depending on circumstances.

As advised this depends on the combination of ISP's involved i.e the terminating and reciepient ISP respectively. In terms of industry failings if consumers feel there are failing in the industry they are free to raise these with Ofcom (the industry regulator) for consideration.
