My brother recently bought a Cat-D megane 06 plate from a trader who had told him that he would repair the car and sell it to him for for £3300 .
There was problems with the injection on the car so we brought the car back to the trader who attempted to fix the problem. After we got it back we had more or less the same problem again so we brought it back to him but he had no idea why the injection was having the same problem again.

My brother then had the car moved to another garage to get someone else to have a look and was told that something was wrong with his diesel tank which was causing problems with his injection, im not a mechanic so i have no idea how that affects the injection, and was told to bring the car to a megane garage to double check. the megane mechanics confirmed that was the case BUT its going to cost him £800 to repair everything the trader was supposed to fix in the first place
i wanted to know if there was anything we could do about this so that we could get the trader to pay for all or some part of the repairs as he was supposed to fix it but didn't, he didn't even attempt to take the take to a megane garage after he couldn't find out what was wrong.
if there's nothing we can do then we'll just have to live with it but im not happy with how the trader went about this whole situation.
