Listed building insurance

Hello
I'm new to moneysavingexpert :-)
I had a look around the forum but couldn't find an answer to my question so I thought I try asking directly and hopefully someone might be able to help.
I am looking for affordable home insurance for a listed Grade II cottage. Ideally both content and building insurance.
I can't get any online quotes because it's listed and I'm dreading having to phone lots of different providers to get a quote as this is so very time consuming and I'm also worried to get the 'hard sell'.
Has anyone here got any experience with a good home insurance provider for listed buildings who offers reasonable prices?
Thanks a lot!

Why can't you quote on line? The aggregators, or at least confused.com, quote for grade 2 listed buildings, unless its its age rather than its listed status that is the issue0

i'm not entirely sure why i'm not getting a quote online.
They let me go through the whole catalogue of questions only to tell me at the end that they can't give me a quote online and that i will have to phone them. They don't give a reason.
And i've tried many times with many different providers :-(.0
