Advice how to get loan numbers from 1998?

Hi all,
I'd really appreciate some help on this, if you can, I found some paperwork in the loft, and came across a loan and account number I had with Halifax, and although I feel happy, I actually had 3 loans with them. How do I find the other loan numbers out if they were over the 6 years?
Is this something to just leave, or if Halifax have this information (and they do, as they've quickly replied saying they're 'gathering information and documetation relevant to my complaint', how can I get those loan numbers?
Thanks in advance for anyone who helps!

Hi there
You have a few choices here.;)
You can SAR (Request for a subject Access Request), if you bank with this bank when you make a request for the above data they must send you everything they hold on all accounts you taken out with them, so a one SAR request with the one off payment of £10 cheque or postal order, they have 40 calendar days to comply.
SAR letter template below. (You can just give your bank account number and everything as stated should be enclosed of all accounts taken out).

Or another way to save money would be to call into your local branch, speak to a member of the staff or the branch manager, ask them to check your accounts for you.
Or, if you do online banking, this may allow you to go back to about 2002 maybe earlier, where statements will normally show the account numbers of loans next to the monthly repayments.
To make a reclaim, you complete a reclaim questionnaire, as on step 3 below, if your reasons are the same for all, then one questionnaire is ok, just remember though to enclose all account numbers of the loans that apply.
Or complete separately in case of any confusion etc.
Remember to keep copies in case you need to go back to them again at some point, good luck.
