I pre-ordered 2 games from the online site of "GAME" on the 22nd of August. When I did the checkout I entered my reward card number to get my points awarded onto my account and paid, then after it had taken my money it said my reward card hadn't been recognised. I emailed them to give the order number and ask them to be sure to credit my card and got an auto reply saying I'd hear soon.

I never received a response and then when one of the games I'd pre-ordered came to be released it wasn't dispatched until the day after it was released and so I got it later than the shops had it (!) and they sent me an email saying as a sorry they would credit my reward card with £5 worth of points.

I emailed again (10 days ago now) saying they still hadn't replied about my other email and as their service was so sloppy I wan't to cancel the outstanding item in my order which isn't due for release until the end of the year (you can't cancel orders online). Well they still haven't responded to any of my emails, I still haven't been credited with the reward points for my order item that was sent or the £5 "apology" reward points, and my other item that hasn't been despatched still is showing on my account instead of having been cancelled. I have rung their customer service line 3 times and held for over 15 minutes (at 10p a min rates!) and they never answer the call.
What do I do now???

    helpful tips
    it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
    their - 'owned by them'
    they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)

Go back to buying games from real shops.

    Or use Amazon.

He has been phoning them, but they don't answer.

OP - if you phone again, try 01256 784000 or 01942 243220 (courtesy of saynoto0870)

I normally use Amazon but GAME has a different pre-order bonus that my son wanted, and the second game I ordered isn't available for pre-order on Amazon.

That's the 10p a min number I have been calling and they just keep you on hold.

I'd also recommend, in future, going with Shopto.net. They're fab.
