  • The man on the telephone told me 6-7 weeks, so I said "I'll expect it before Christmas then", he laughed with one of those "you're probably right" laughs.
People with letters dated in July haven't had payouts yet.
You can call them to get the payment paid to a bank account instead of cheque too.

Hi there, my letter was dated the 3rd of Aug and I've still not had mine. There useless on the phone, any day now etc. If they cut the BS out and just told us how long it would take they might not have as many phone calls asking where our money is, and then could focus on getting it paid out. So annoyed now. Emails ignored too.
  • oh that does not sound good !! Its wrong isnt it as if we owed them money they would take it ASAP ...:eek::(
  • I spoke to someone on saturday and they advised it is 4 weeks from the date they get your acceptance, but its taking an additional 2 weeks on top of that at the moment.

Not helpful in your case but gives you an idea if the backlog and timescales.

Just spoke to someone, they said there on the letters dated 5th Aug, takes 3 working days for bank credits. Told me to ring back if not in by Friday. I won't hold my breath!
