Remote access from mac to pc

Hi, just wondering if there is any software that allows me to see a pc from my mac. What I'd like to do is see my dad's pc from home. Ideally I'd like to be able to control it from where I am but it's not the end of the world if I can only see it. Im preferably looking for a free solution if at all possible.

Logmein is also good, and logmein hamachi is excellent too if you need to do stuff like copy files to and from.
