I think the delivery charge/limit only applies if you're ordering/paying online. If you take your order into the store, they should be able to order it all in for you for free collection (usually a couple of days). If you pass a Boots regularly and have a mobile they'll txt you when your order is ready for collection.

That's one way of getting round the delivery charges anyway, if you live near a store

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me when the Boots sale will start...is it Boxing day in store? Christmas Day/Christmas Eve online? I was just wondering as my family aren't 'doing Christmas' until the 28th December this year (as I can't get home until then), so maybe I could grab some bargains?

Also, theoretically, if i went in store on Boxing day and found some things I'd already purchased, but at a fraction of the price could I buy those and then, with a receipt, get a full refund on the full price items? :S I know this sounds really bad, but I'm just thinking of ways to be sensible with funds this year as I, like a lot of people, am finding it pretty tight.
