Last year I ended up buying something full price then it was on half price the next day. Very frustrating lol.

I won't be suprised if alot of things change this year.Boots is not the shop it once was you should see what they are doing to their staff.I don't think the offers will be as good and I also think that they will leave things in the sale for 50% off longer.Last year they stopped 342 on killer offer they also didn't have the 90% off items in most shops.

Boots hasn't been buying in as much stock as they have done in previous years, hence, not much in the 75% sale and hence no 90% sale.

If there is something you really want then best to get it on 342 or on an offer day, ie when they reduce the price for 1 item significantly, or when boots has its mega shopping event where you get loads and loads of extra points for spending £50.

I spent £100 worth of points in a boots sale on gift sets in Jan 2009, and I still have a fair bit left, after giving away loads to friends, school raffles etc. SO try not to go too mad.

One thing about being on the grabbit board so long, it has taught me that there is always another offer / glitch just around the corner.

Bit disapointed that there doesn't seem to be any Toni&Guy hair stuff sets. My daughter loves them at Christmas

Thank you OP, looking forward to the deal on the big S&G set, I bought my first S&G (the big box of goodies) last year, and still have a few bits left. I think it's definitely worth it for £20-odd, I'll be there early!

charlie chan- i was only joking. Just seemed funny when lines have only just gone on sale.

Hadley- you are right about the way Boots are treating staff these days, my OH works for them, and not wishing to come across in a sexist way, if it was a men dominated business, and also unionised, they would not treat staff as they do some of the ladies. The stories i could tell you!!
There is talk of Boxing Day being open from 8.30-7, it seems like you can forget about Christmas with the family if you work for Boots.

princesswoo- you are spot on about the stock, apparantly they have cut right back on stock holding this year.

Yay - Xmas is coming, I love getting the Boots xmas book, have to admit though that normally at this time of year I have about 60quid in points and then top them up in their extra points night. However, this year there is a measly 7.74 on my AC :eek:
