Flights to Boston/New York July/August 2012

Hello,
I am looking to book flights from glasgow to the Boston or New York for July/August 2012 to go to a wedding on the 4th of August.
The best price i have found for returns is £528 per person. Does this sound like a good deal? The flights are with Iceland Air departing on the 26th of July and returning on the 6th of August. We are flexible and are just looking for the best price, can anybody beat this?
Is just now the best time to buy or are there chrismas/new year sales when the flights are likely to be cheaper?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers
Stuart

They don't need to put flights on sale for the end of July unfortunately, you are looking at the highest possible prices. If you must fly from Glasgow you have very limited choices, Icelandair which is a low cost carrier where you must buy everything on board at extra cost or Continental from Glasgow to New York Newark. The Continental flight is full service and a lot quicker with no changing in Iceland both ways but is £727 indeed I can only find Icelandair for over £100 more than your quote, to New York at least, so as long as you are happy with the connections, I would buy Icelandair now!0
