Makro-any cheaper than buying from supermarkets

I find them expensive on grocery items but for electrical items and some clothing and bedding items you are likely to save money, but again always know your prices before you go.

I emailed Makro in relation to this as I have often gone there and items have not been available within the first hour of their sale. I went there yesturday to buy a digital photo frame. It was not there and when I spoke to the assistant he informed me that they only actually ever had 2 in stock. Its a bit of a joke.

Also the staff at the stores are entitled to buy the items as soon as the sale starts. I have witnessed this in the past also and it seems to be the case that the staff snap up all of these bargains before the public get a chance.

The manager of their Cardiff store doesnt seem to think that this is a problem.

Makro are notorious for only have stupidly limited stock for things that are a very good offer in their Makro mail. You literally have to be the first person there in the morning.

Some of their stuff is cheaper, some of it is much more expensive. You can't argue with their Haribo tubs of sweets
