Stoozing mess-up - please help

in Credit cards
Looks like I may have messed up my 1st attempt at stoozing. Can a stoozing expert out there please tell me where I went wrong as I have been charged interest on my Egg Card? My anniversary month is March and my credit limit is £6,300. The recent transactions on the card are as follows:
16 Feb balance 0.00
17 Feb Balance transfer in of £3,000
17 Feb Balance transfer in of £4,000
18 Feb Balance transfer out of £7,000
1 Mar Balance transfer out £6,000 (Anniversary transfer using my credit limit on card)
3 Mar Balance transfer in £2,000
3 Mar Received statement on which charged £4.60 interest (1.167% per month) on balance transfer (doesn’t say which)
7 Mar Balance transfer out £2,000
Current balance £6004.60
As far as I can see the only debt is the £6,000 anniversary transfer which should be interest free. I am worried that the interest may multiply next month. Should I pay back some or all of the £6,000?
Any help much appreciated.

I suggest you contact EGG. I am sure I have read here before that sometimes if you transfer money out on the first day of your anniversary EGG can charge you interest in error. They should pay it back. I can't see you've done anything wrong.0

Yeah, I got charged because I did a BT on the first day of my anniversary month in February. A quick phonecall sorted the problem out.Ethical moneysaver0

I wonder how many people they have done this to ?
There will be plenty of people who have just paid up or it will have just snowballed to something bigger.
But then again ........most people who are into BT's and shifting debt here and there will be on this site, so will be wise to the problem !!If only everything in life was as reliable...AS ME !!
