I work in a restaurant and have no qualms about telling parents to keep their kids under control. We are a restaurant not a playground/creche, and most people want to enjoy a civilised meal without someone else's unruly offspring ruining it for them.
I was buying my daughter shoes the other day and there were 2 nightmare children running amok in the store - not a chav dad, a very posh dad going 'now Freddie i have told you not to do that'. Meanwhile Freddie is running at full pelt screaming at the top of his lungs round the store:mad: He then ran straight into me, i did my best condescending shake of the head:) dad did make him apologise, not that he took a blind bit of notice as he then started tearing round the store and wrestling with his sister. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0
